Post war diplomatic efforts

Diplomatic efforts were initialized towards the Republic of Hyderabad. A high level delegation led by Secretary of External Affairs, Mr. KP Varma visited Hyderabad and met the Prime Minister. Assurances of peace and stability was given and offers for trade initiated. An Embassy of Cochin was set up at Tank Bund Road, Hyderabad and a Cochin Consulate at Visakhapatnam. A Hyderabad High Commission was set up at Cochin and Consulates at Bangalore and Chennai.

Cochin has decided to buy 4000 12 ton Tatra trucks from Hyderabad. Cochin has also bought stakes in ore mines in Hyderabad. Hyderabad signed a deal to buy 500 MS155 systems and 2 lakh 5.56 MM MS assault rifles. They are also buying 20 used midget subs and 50 new midget subs, 5 Amindvi class destroyers and a Kottayam class helicopter carrier and 250 S-RECO UAVs.

The Golden Triangle super highway network connecting Cochin, Bangalore and Chennai is going to have an extension to Hyderabad. Rail links between Cochin and Hyderabad is also going to be set up.

Hyderabad State Army observed RCDF's annual Red Storm exercise at Vellore. Hyderabad also sent its air force to participate in teh Eagle Talons air combat exercise. The navy participated in the Malabar naval exercises conducted in the Bay of Bengal.
