"This is not acceptable, gentlemen. Over the past 2 weeks we have had 25 attacks in various parts of Cochin-India. We have almost 130 people dead, 400 injured and the number of 500 enemy dead does not shine well upon us. Wide areas of the Kingdom are now beyond the rule of law and order. This is where Royal Cochin Police Force has to show its mettle, we must not let the situation develop into a position where Royal Cochin Army has to come in. We have the ability to maintain safety and security within the Kingdom's borders and we must show our iron resolve."
"We need more S-RECO coverage, NRA, that is your job. Get more S-RECOs from National Defense Reserves. CBI is already involved in establishing an intelligence network in the affected areas, we would have more actionable intelligence as this week goes by. NRA, monitor all communication channels, locate and plot communication nexuses that are suspected to be used by these rebels. We shall act against them once the data has been retrieved. Additional Armed Reserve Police Force Battalions are on their way from Central Asian Provinces, as are more Airborne Police Forces. Our SWAT teams are more than capable of dealing with their guerrilla tactics, they are all after all ex-RCSF commandos. Law Enforcement Unit, I want more citizen outreach. Interact with Ministry of Interior officials and try to get more and more civilian cooperation. We must fight back against their brain washing. Railway Police Force, CBI has received some intelligence that our trains may get under attack. Post armed sentries on every train. Industrial Security Force, these communists may try to disrupt the functioning of the various industries, increase your alert levels. "
"Now this is how we fight back. Starting from today, we maintain curfews. CORM body vests to be worn by every trooper on duty. All patrols should be more than 3 in strength. APF should always have an assault platoon ready at all times. Alert all hospitals in the region to expect more casualties. This week we start defending in strength and next week we take the war to them. I shall contact RCAF so that if and when needed we may get some really heavy support. I have asked for 3 Aerial Artillery Platforms. That should be quite adequate to beat the hell out of them."
"So officers, saddle up. We are going to destroy those rebels."

"Well these should kill a lot of those Cochin pigs. This would be an attack that they would never have expected."
"How many tons is it? "
"Two whole tonnes of RDX, in this truck, with half a ton of scrap metal for shrapnel. Explode it in the Dragonisian City Market, and at least a thousand would die, including many of those policemen."
"Oh My God. That would definitely shake their resolve."
These CPM activists are preparing the explosives at a village outside of Kolar. The dilapidated truck would hardly attract any attention in those roads. A total of 30 CPM activists are preparing various such suicide bombing vehicles in this remote garage. A total of 4 vehicles are being prepared of which the truck would be most potent.
"Hey Comrade, get me some water. It is stinking hot in here and these fumes are killing me."
"Sure." The guy walked to the earthen pot by the window and filled a metal glass with water. As he was turning back to his friend with water, he saw the reflective glare on the glass darkening, as if the the sky was darkening outside. As he turned towards the window he was thrown right back as a padded boot jumped to his chest, shattering the window.
Simultaneously the two doors of the garage were kicked in and more commandos stormed in from 4 other windows. At two windowless enclosures the tin metal roof were blasted away as men in jackboots rushed in through them. A 15 second fire fight was all that it lasted. 20 terrorists were incapacitated and 10 lay dead, dead before even being able to figure out what had happened.
"Planning to blow us up were you, Commie rats," the Major commanding the SWAT team said kicking an uncocked pistol out of the hand of a dead terrorist.
"Sir, we have a total of 4 vehicles with a combined total of 5 tonnes of RDX put in them. Where do I detonate them, Sir?" one of the Head Constables on the team asked the Major.
"No, we might be able to find a use for them."
The Major then keyed in his headset and talked for a few minutes.
After an hour of very careful searching, the SWAT troopers and the prisoners were picked up by a Blackhawk. The truck and two cars were driven out to a safer location. The SUV was left in position.
Couple of hours later.....................
"Why haven't they answered the calls yet? Have they been attacked? No, that doesn't seem likely, there are lights and voices still coming from the garage." The CPM activist was talking to his superior over the phone as he and a group of 8 activists are nearing the garage. In the night time the light and voices are quite distinctive, some one was singing with a very ragged voice, a song that would have earned him a reprimand in a party political. Surely if there were some threat around they would have been more careful.
"Okay, look inside anyway. I want to know why they did not answer the calls."
"Yes, Comrade, just hold on, you can scream at them yourselves."
The 9 rebels entered the garage, the door was oddly unfamiliar. The voices coming from within one of the rooms, it was the dining room, did not diminish as they entered. Everyone started wondering what is going on, some gambling? As the leader of the group made way to open the dining room door, he noticed that the SUV was quite incongruously the only vehicle present and it is in the very middle of the garage. His suspicions were found to be true as he opened the door and looked into a room empty of life but with 10 dead bodies neatly piled to a corner. The belated revelation would not of course change the course of his remaining life which would last just seconds as one ton of RDX exploded from within the SUV.
"Wow !! Look at that fire ball! Well they were suckered quite easily into that trap and now we know who the leader of this cell is."
The operator of the S-RECO told his friend who was operating another S-RECO terminal. The S-RECO had successfully tracked the call made by the unfortunate rebels and another communist king pin would soon receive a visit from Royal Cochin Police Forces. The SWAT troopers had been sent to a site that seemed to be the target of a large density of suspected communist phones. The trigger words had been "RDX" and "Market" which led to the launch of the operation. The SWAT troopers had been dropped off by several jeeps some kilometers away from the site and had made their way gradually towards the ramshackle shack that was the garage. They observed the garage for 12 hours, ascertaining the enemy's operational details. When it became sure that waiting would not give any more advantages the team decided to strike. A daylight strike would be good as they would not suspect such an attack in broad daylight. While collecting the intelligence, the SWAT team had recorded almost 10 hours of sounds from within the garage. The incoming Blackhawk had brought an MP3 player with surround sound speakers which was arranged inside the garage and the sound played on a continuous loop.
It was a simple yet well laid out trap that caught the rats as intended.
